EVERETT—Alexis Hernandez Cerritos, 27, of Everett, died in a motorcycle accident near Russell Way and SR-99 on the evening of July 16, 2024.
Cerritos was traveling southbound on SR-99 on his Honda VTI300 motorcycle. An unknown vehicle travelling northbound turned left in front of Cerritos onto Russell Way in South Everett. Cerritos attempted to overcorrect and unfortunately loss control of his motorcycle and died. He was wearing his helmet.
The incident is still under investigation.

Alexis was an aircraft flight control technician at ATS in Everett.
He was going home for his mid shift break.
He never came back.

That is absolutely heartbreaking! Totally preventable if people would pay attention!! I’m so sad for his friends and family. Sending prayers for comfort and peace.🙏🏻❤️
