15-year-old stabbed intervening in alternation between suspect and bus driver

LYNNWOOD—A 15-year-old male juvenile was allegedly stabbed by Crispin Ellias McFall Oleary, 32, after intervening in a verbal altercation between the suspect and a community transit bus driver. The condition of the juvenile is unknown.

Around 1:15 p.m. today, July 23, Snohomish County Sheriff Deputies responded to reports of a stabbing in a parking lot at 148th Street SW and Hwy 99, in unincorporated Lynnwood. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, a 15-year-old male, with a stab wound.

The victim was transported by aid to Providence Regional Medical Center, his condition is unknown.

Deputies located the suspect, a 32-year-old man, and took him into custody. The suspect is being booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Assault 1, 3 and 4.

During the investigation, deputies learned an altercation occurred on a bus between the suspect and the driver. Two juveniles attempted to intervene at which time the suspect began a verbal altercation with the juveniles.

The parties exited the bus where the confrontation continued in a nearby parking lot and the 32-year-old suspect stabbed the 15-year-old victim.
