Mill Creek to host National Night Out on Aug 6

MILL CREEK—Please join the Mill Creek Police Department (MCPD) in celebrating National Night Out (NNO) at Party in the Parks with our community on Tuesday, August 6, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Highlands Park (16123 Highlands Blvd. SE). Enjoy a fun evening for all ages filled with free food, drinks, games, and activities including pickleball, cornhole, line dancing, story time, and more.

New this year are drone demonstrations and a Bike Rodeo (ages 3 – 15) with the MCPD. Please remember to bring bikes and helmets. South County Fire can provide a helmet if your child does not have one; however, quantities are limited and only available while they last.

The Mill Creek Community Food Bank will be on hand to collect canned food donations, please consider donating. Also, help us “Stuff the Bus” for children in the Everett School District by bringing school supplies and filling our container at the Police booth.

Our generous sponsors and community organizations make this free community event possible, thanks to Starbucks, 7-Eleven, ADT, JL Remodeling, Stellar Kids Dentistry, Community Transit, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Town & Country Market, Kiwanis of Mill Creek, Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce, and Huckleberry Corn Company.

A huge thanks to our volunteers, including South County Fire, Mill Creek Youth Advisory Board, Jackson High Key Club, City of Mill Creek staff, Camp Fire of Snohomish County, Department of Emergency Management, Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, and Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse, Law Enforcement Assisted Division for their tireless community support!

National Night Out, held annually on the first Tuesday in August, provides an excellent opportunity to bring police and neighbors together as a community.

Parking is limited; we encourage walking, biking, and carpooling.
