Link light rail service to Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood begins August 30. With four new stations, 1 Line trains run every 8–10 minutes, offering you yet another choice to get where you want to go.
Construction Crews working on the Lynnwood Link Extension will be potholing, grinding, and paving roads near Lynnwood Transit Center resulting in closures as early as Monday, August 5.
Nightly closures at SR 104 interchange
As early as Monday, August 5, Sound Transit’s contractor will work at the SR 104 interchange in Shoreline for drilling, landscaping, and restoration. This work will require periodic nightly closures of the off-ramp to eastbound SR 104, the off-ramp to westbound SR 104, and the I-5 on-ramp from eastbound SR 104. The contractor has obtained a temporary noise variance to complete this work. Detours will be provided (see maps).

- Drilling will occur Monday, Aug. 5 – Thursday, Aug. 8, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
- Landscaping will occur Monday, Aug. 12 – Thursday, Aug. 15, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Center lane closure on 44th Ave W
Starting Monday, Aug. 5, Sound Transit’s contractor will continue road work on 44th Ave W. This will require closing the center turn lane just south of 200th St SW. Detours for the left turn lane from 44th Ave W to 200th St SW will be provided (see map).
44th Ave W and 200th St SW:
- Monday, Aug. 5 – Friday, Aug. 9, all day and all night.
Daily full road closure of 46th Ave W
As early as Monday, Aug. 5, Sound Transit’s contractor will continue grinding and paving work on 46th Ave W. This will require the closure of 46th Ave W south of 200th St SW. Detours will be provided (see map). The contractor has received a temporary noise variance to complete this work.

- Tuesday, Aug. 6 – Friday, Aug. 12, all day and all night
