City of Mukilteo Launches Public Survey on Waterfront Parking Needs

MUKILTEO—The City of Mukilteo is excited to announce the launch of a public survey to better understand the parking needs at the waterfront. This survey marks a significant step forward in the City’s ongoing efforts to develop the waterfront, which has been designated as a Council priority for 2024.

One of the initial aspects of the waterfront development is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the parking demand in the area, access to and within the waterfront, and the feasibility of parking structures to meet this demand.

This survey is part of the Waterfront Parking Study being conducted by Walker Consultants, a leading parking consulting firm in the United States. Walker Consultants is collaborating with the City to integrate the guiding principles and vision of the waterfront plans throughout the study. Their goal is to guide Mukilteo in creating a more pedestrian-friendly waterfront with well-planned parking.

The survey is now live and will be available through August 28 at https://tinyurl.com/2rf94r6k. Residents and visitors are encouraged to participate and share their insights.
