Everett, Wash., June 2, 2025 — Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC), the region’s lead economic development organization, will travel to France to participate in the 2025 Paris Air Show, taking place June 16–22 at Le Bourget Airport. As part of the Washington State delegation, EASC will promote Snohomish County’s aerospace sector, attract foreign investment, and strengthen global partnerships.

Snohomish County makes up the majority of the state delegation, with 12 of the 22 participating companies having a presence in the county, including locations in Arlington, Bothell, Edmonds, Everett, Lynnwood, and Marysville. The group, which includes several EASC investors, showcase the strong regional alignment behind Snohomish County’s aerospace sector.
Daniel Tappana, EASC’s Director of Economic Development, will represent the county’s opportunities in meetings with aerospace manufacturers, suppliers and investors exploring U.S. expansion. EASC’s participation supports its mission to attract foreign investment and strengthen global partnerships that drive economic growth at home.
“In today’s shifting global landscape, the Paris Air Show gives us a critical opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders and policymakers,” says Tappana. “We build relationships, gain insight into supply chain realignments and make sure Snohomish County stays competitive and globally connected.”
Snohomish County is home to the largest concentration of aerospace jobs in the western United States, anchored by Boeing’s Everett facility and a skilled manufacturing workforce. The county offers a strong value proposition for companies focused on innovation, sustainability and supply chain resilience.
“Snohomish County and Washington state are incredibly well positioned to build on existing relationships and find new opportunities for the aerospace industry,” says Snohomish County Councilmember Strom Peterson, who joins the delegation. “As an elected official, I’m proud to be part of the team bringing great jobs, economic development and environmental solutions to our communities.”
EASC’s attendance follows a series of recruitment wins over the past year, including the expansion of clean aviation firm ZeroAvia, a manufacturing grant that supported growth at Lafarge & Egge, and the relocation of Swedish clean-tech company Echandia to Marysville.
By participating in the Paris Air Show, EASC continues to elevate Snohomish County’s presence on the world stage and connect regional priorities with global opportunity.

Why seek more development? Snohomish County can not keep up with the infrastructure to support contractors at Smokey Point and Lake Stevens.
Is this a funded trip and under what
Budget? As Canano Iskand grows, and Stanwood expands east, West bound traffic is backed up to Hagens daily.
Worst choke point in the State. Now pressure is on Marine Dr. SOUTH to avoid these backups. Marine Dr. Is built on old dike burms and is constantly failing. In my opinion, Snohomish Co.
Is out of control.
