MONROE—The annual Evergreen State Fair, which has been part of summer memories in Snohomish County for 116 years, will kick off with Opening Day on August 21.
The Evergreen State Fair is scheduled to commence on August 21, 2025, in Monroe, with an 11-day run featuring agricultural exhibits, entertainment, and community activities under the theme “The Evergreen State Fair, Where Magic Comes Alive in 2025!” The event will operate from August 21 to 26 and August 28 to September 1, closing on August 27 for maintenance.

Attractions include carnival rides, animal barns for petting and viewing livestock, horse shows, rodeo events, and displays of handmade crafts and agricultural entries. Visitors can also enjoy fair food vendors, roving performers, and educational exhibits focused on local farming and crafts.
The Grandstand Concert Lineup for 2025 was announced in March, featuring a mix of country, classic rock, and alternative rock acts.

Performances extend beyond the grandstand to the Courtyard Stage, which hosts daily acts like New Age Flamenco on opening day, alongside other local musicians and entertainers throughout the fair.
Fireworks displays are planned for two evenings: an opening night show on August 21 at 9 p.m., included with gate admission, and a post-event display on August 31 following the demolition derby, which requires a separate ticket.
