MILL CREEK – On Saturday, August 16th, at approximately 5:00 pm, Mill Creek Police were dispatched to the Swift Orange Line bus stop at the 800 block of 164th St. SE, in response to a report of an assault with a weapon. When officers arrived, they learned that several juveniles already on the bus got into a physical altercation with a male and a female who later entered the coach at this location.
The male and female exited the bus, and shots were exchanged between the male outside the bus and the juveniles inside. All suspects fled on foot before police arrived. There were no injuries due to the gunfire.
A K-9 unit was able to locate and detain two juveniles. One juvenile was released to the hospital for treatment of a canine bite, while the other was released to a parent. Detectives have identified one additional juvenile and are continuing to investigate the other subjects involved.
