โ€œIโ€™ve known Scott for years and know he has the experience, integrity, and commitment Everett needs at this momentโ€ said Washington State Senator June Robinson (D-38). โ€œScott has demonstrated that he understands both the strengths and the challenges of our city. I believe that he will put the people of Everett first and will work with community members and government leaders to find real solutions for the pressing issues of affordability and public safety that we face.โ€

Councilmember Megan Dunn praised Murphyโ€™s ability to bring people together to solve complex issues. โ€œScott has a bold, progressive agenda for Everettโ€™s future focused on children, young families and seniors. Heโ€™s demonstrated that he listens to the community, builds partnerships, and delivers results. Iโ€™m proud to support him because I know he will center Everett residents while making the difficult decisions for our shared future.โ€ Murphy welcomed the endorsements, saying they reflect the strong coalition of leaders and community members coming together to support his vision for Everettโ€™s future.

โ€œIโ€™m honored to have the support of Senator Robinson and Councilmember Dunn,โ€ said Scott Murphy. โ€œBoth are deeply respected public servants who have dedicated their careers to building stronger, healthier communities. Their confidence in me is humbling, and I look forward to working with them as we build a brighter future for Everett.โ€

Robinson and Dunn join ten former or current members of the Everett City Council, former Mayor Ed Hansen and hundreds of community members in endorsing Scott Murphy.

Scott Murphy served 9 years on the Everett City Council, where he championed policies to support public safety, expand housing opportunities, and strengthen Everettโ€™s economy while remaining fiscally sound. His mayoral campaign is focused on ensuring safe neighborhoods, reducing homelessness with compassion and accountability, and creating opportunities for working families and local businesses.
