SNOHOMISH COUNTY—The Snohomish County Auditor’s Office has counted 144,887 (26.76%) ballots as of November 5, 2025, for the 2025 General Election.

Below is a summary of election outcomes for feature races:
City of Snohomish Mayor Linda Redmon and Lynnwood Mayor Christine Frizzell, Lynnwood City Councilman Josh Binda, Lake Steves Councilmen Kim Daughtry and Gary Petershagen, and Snohomish City Councilwoman Karen Guzak are out!
It is too close to call for the Court of Appeals, Division 1, District 2 race between Snohomish County Superior Court Judge Karen Moore and Snohomish County District Court Judge Tam Bui.
Goerge Hurst, in his third attempt has won Mayor of Lynnwood. Robert Leutwyler has retained his seat, and he will be joined by Derica Escamilla and Bryce Owings. It is too close to call for Position 2 between Isabel Mata and Ki Sueng Cho.
Mayor Joe Marine retains his mayorship as Mukilteo picks two new City Council members: Bob Champion and James Sterba, to join former Mukilteo Mayor Don Doran, who ran unopposed, to the council.
Mukilteo residents voted overwhelmingly to pass the EMS Levy with a rate of $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed property valuation in 2026.
Cassie Franklin has retained her seat against Scott Murphy to be the Mayor of Everett. She will be joined by Councilwoman-elect Erica Weir, and councilmembers Paula Rhyne and Don Schwab.
Councilman Will Chen and Chris Eck retains their seat on the Edmonds City Council and will be joined by Councilwomen-elect Erika Barnett.
Edmonds residents voted overwhelmingly to reject an increase in the regular levy in 2026 up to $1.65 per $1,000 of assessed value.
Council members Stephanie Vignal and Connie Allison retain their seats on the Mill Creek City Council, and will be joined by Council member-elect Tannis Golebiewski.
Aaron Hoffman will now be the Chief Executive for the City of Snohomish. He will be joined by Council members Tom Merrill and David Flynn, and Council members-elect Anup Deol and Gabe Jacobs.
Marysville council members Peter Condyles, Mark James, and Michael A. Stevens have won their races and will be joining Councilman-elect Dan Perkins.
Senate Joint Resolution 8201 (statewide)
The legislature has proposed a constitutional amendment on allowing money in Washington’s long-term care fund to be invested. This amendment would allow the state fund dedicated to providing long-term care benefits for eligible seniors and people with disabilities to be invested as authorized by law.

Property Tax Levy for Police, Parks, Planning, Streets and Sidewalks
The Edmonds City Council adopted Resolution 1574 concerning a property tax levy. This proposition would authorize the Edmonds City Council to increase the regular levy in 2026 up to $1.65 per $1,000 of assessed value; use the annual CPI-U to adjust levies in 2027-2031; dedicate proceeds to police, parks, planning, streets and sidewalks; exempt qualifying senior and disabled homeowners under RCW 84.36.381; and set the 2031 levy as the base for computing future levy limits.

Levy Lid Lift of the Regular Property Tax Levy for Emergency Medical Care and Services
The Mukilteo City Council adopted Resolution 2025-13 proposing an increase in the City’s Emergency Medical Services property tax levy by lifting the levy limit as authorized in RCW 84.55.050. This proposition would authorize the City to restore the previously voter-authorized rate of $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation in 2026 for the Emergency Medical Services property tax levy. The 2026 levy dollar amount would be used to compute subsequent levy limits under Chapter 84.55 RCW.
