LYNNWOOD—At approximately 3:13 p.m., November 9, South County Deputies and Lynnwood Police responded to a reported stabbing in the 20900 block of 44th Avenue W in Lynnwood. Upon investigation, deputies learned that a 17-year-old male had been lured out of his apartment, distracted, and then stabbed by a known acquaintance.

After the assault, the suspect fled into a wooded area and discarded the knife. Deputies quickly located the suspect at a nearby business plaza. The primary suspect, an 18-year-old male, along with a second suspect, a 19-year-old female, was taken into custody without further incident.
The 17-year-old victim was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The 18-year-old male suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Assault 1, and the 19-year-old female suspect was booked for Assault 1 DV. All parties involved are known to each other.
