Bringing soccer to Everett

The City is also in exclusive negotiations with the USL to bring professional men’s and women’s soccer teams to Everett through the development of a new Outdoor Event Center. The proposed multi-use facility would host sports, concerts, markets and community gatherings, activating the city’s urban core, boosting the local economy and drawing visitors from across the Puget Sound region.

Everett’s growing sports and entertainment scene

The watch party builds on Everett’s growing reputation as a regional hub for sports, events and entertainment. From hockey and baseball to waterfront concerts and community festivals, Everett has steadily expanded its year-round offerings.

Soccer is taking center stage in Everett as the city, like much of the Puget Sound region, prepares for the FIFA World Cup 26™ in Seattle. Everett is designated as an official Fan Zone location, where fans can experience the excitement of the tournament through live match viewings, community celebrations and family-friendly activities. These Fan Zones will bring the global energy of the games to Everett, creating a one-of-a-kind celebration for residents and visitors alike. More information about Everett’s Fan Zone to come in early 2026.
