Edmonds –A 27-year-old Edmonds man was arrested by the Edmonds PD yesterday for possessing and dealing child sex abuse material and voyeurism.

The Edmonds Police Department‘s Problem-Solving Emphasis Team (PSET) had been investigating a tip through the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) for several months leading up to the arrest.
Officially launched in 1998, the Washington ICAC Task Force is a federal- and state-funded multijurisdictional alliance tasked with catching criminals who use technology to deliberately prey on children.
The man was arrested at his Edmonds home Monday, November 10, after a collaborative surveillance effort by multiple EPD resources, the EPD said.
The suspect was arrested and booked at Snohomish County Jail Monday under charges of two counts of Voyeurism (Felony C), Dealing with Depictions of a Minor Engaged in Sexual Misconduct (Felony B), and Possession of a Depiction of a Minor Engaged in Sexual Misconduct (Felony B).

There was no bail set and his first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, at 1 p.m. in Everett District Court.
To help protect the identities and privacy of the victims, The Edmonds PD has said that limited additional information will be released at this time.
