Heroes and Hoops Charity Basketball Tournament tips off for a good cause

MARYSVILLE—Cheer on your first responders and help raise donations for Seattle Children’s Hospital and Toys for Tots at the Heroes & Hoops Charity Basketball Tournament on Sunday, Dec. 7, at Marysville Pilchuck High School, 5611 108th St. NE.

Everyone who brings a new unwrapped toy will be entered into a drawing for fun prizes. Tickets for the drawing will also be available for $10, with all proceeds from the drawing donated to Seattle Children’s Hospital. All toys will be collected by Toys for Tots. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and games begin at 10 a.m.

Santa will make a special stop for free photos and to support our heroes from noon to 2 p.m. Teams include:

  • Arlington Police
  • Everett Police
  • Marysville Police
  • Marysville Professional Firefighters Local 3219
  • Shoreline Professional Firefighters Local 1760
  • Granite Falls Fire District 17
  • Snohomish County Sheriff
  • Tulalip Police
  • Toys for Tots
