LYNNWOOD—Gesa, a leading credit union in the Pacific Northwest dedicated to driving meaningful change in the communities it serves, announced its distinguished Scholarship Program will now be accepting applications through February 28, 2026.
“Every year, we hear from students who are putting in the work to reach their goals, and their stories remind us why this program is so important,” said Brandon Allison, VP of Community Impact at Gesa Credit Union. “We’re looking forward to seeing this year’s applications and continuing to ease some of the financial challenges that can come with pursuing higher education. At Gesa, we want students to feel supported as they take that next step, and we’re committed to helping remove barriers wherever we can.”
Students entering college for the first time, continuing to pursue higher education, or managing student loans are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to receive some of the $150,000 available in scholarships.
The amounts available across each category for the 2026-2027 Gesa scholarships include:
- $80,000 for high school seniors who have participated in Gesa’s High School Credit Union program
- $34,000 for high school seniors entering college for the first time
- $26,000 for Gesa members who are continuing their pursuit of higher education
- $10,000 for members with active student loans
Scholarship applications for the 2026-2027 school year close February 28, 2026. Applicants must be Gesa members and submit their application through the online portal found on Gesa’s website.
