EVERETT – Last week, the Port of Everett Commission authorized a new three-year lease with S3 Maritime, a Seattle-based marine services company, to open a new facility at the largest public marina on the West Coast.

S3 Maritime offers boaters a full-service marine installation, maintenance, and repair shop. The team has a robust slate of expertise in installation and service needs, including electrical, electronics, engine/mechanical, HVAC, hydraulics, metal fabrication, paint and fiberglass, water systems, and yard services.
The new Everett facility includes over 2,600 square feet of office and retail space, access to the boat yard, and access to moorage. The company will be located in suite 107 at the Port’s Waterfront Center building in the Craftsman District of Waterfront Place (1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 107, Everett WA 98201).
The new space allows S3 Maritime to better serve the region’s vibrant maritime community while expanding its reach along the I-5 corridor. The strategic location strengthens S3 Maritime’s ability to support commercial and recreational vessel owners with faster response times, greater service capacity, and enhanced local presence in Snohomish County and surrounding areas.
“We are excited to join the Port of Everett and become part of this dynamic waterfront community,” S3 Maritime General Manager, Kalin Tobin, said. “This expansion reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable marine services to a broader customer base while investing in the long-term maritime infrastructure of the region.”
From this new location, S3 Maritime will provide its full complement of marine repair, refit, and technical services, and plans to open in early March 2026.
The Everett location is S3 Maritime’s 5th marine service center. The company opened in Seattle in 2007, and maintains two service centers in the Ballard area. They opened a dedicated location in Anacortes in 2021, and further expanded to a second Anacortes facility in 2025, though the team is also highly mobile and able to meet boat owners where they need them.
“S3 Maritime is a strong addition to the Port of Everett’s marine-related business community, expanding local access to vessel maintenance, repair, and custom services while supporting continued economic activity on the waterfront,” Jeff Lindhout, Chief of Marina Operations, said.
There are 18+ marine service providers at the Marina, and with 2,300 permanent slips and 5,000 lineal feet of guest moorage, it is the largest public marina on the West Coast. Recent improvements include a new fuel dock that opened in 2025, ongoing development at Waterfront Place, bringing new restaurants, retail, and housing, the addition of new art, 90+ waterfront events each year, and more. The Port secured a $1 million grant from the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) to help fund renovation work at the Jetty Landing Boat Launch, the state’s largest public boat launch, with in-water construction anticipated to start in 2027.
