ECHO Tour Returns to Everett Community College

EVERETT — Snohomish STEM Network announces the return of ECHO Tour℠ to Everett Community College on Tuesday, March 24 and Wednesday, March 25, connecting high school students with real-world healthcare career pathways. More than 200 students from 10 Snohomish County high schools are expected to participate.

Students will engage directly with healthcare professionals and educators through hands-on career exploration stations highlighting fields such as nursing, pharmacy, behavioral health and emergency services. Healthcare remains one of Snohomish County’s fastest-growing workforce sectors, creating strong demand for skilled professionals across clinical, technical and behavioral health roles.

ECHO Tour is supported by The Boeing Company, whose investment helps expand career-connected learning opportunities for students across Snohomish County. With Boeing’s support, Snohomish STEM expanded the program this school year, including a December ECHO Tour hosted at Edmonds College that served more than 100 students from the Edmonds School District. Strong healthcare workforce pipelines benefit the regional economy by supporting employers and strengthening community health.

“ECHO Tour is part of the workforce infrastructure our region needs to connect education, industry and students earlier in the talent pipeline,” says Alyssa Jackson, Director of Snohomish STEM Network. “By aligning employers, colleges and schools around real workforce needs, students gain a clearer understanding of healthcare career pathways and how they can begin preparing today.”

In 2025, 273 students from 19 schools across Snohomish County participated in a three-day ECHO Tour, with 40 presenters from 27 local organizations leading interactive career stations. Surveys collected after the event found 90% of students reported increased interest in pursuing a healthcare career.

“Healthcare is one of our region’s most dynamic, critical and important career sectors,” says Ray Stephanson, President and CEO of the Economic Alliance Snohomish County.  “Snohomish STEM Network’s program ECHO Tour lays the foundation for a future workforce excited and prepared for the health care careers of the future.”
