Snohomish County Update returns June 2 with Focus on fiscal responsibility and economic resilience

EVERETT – Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) will host the annual Snohomish County Update on June 2, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Boeing Future of Flight. Presented by Boeing, and in partnership with Coastal Bank, North Sound Media, Community Transit, The Daily Herald, and Snohomish County PUD, this year’s program will feature Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers providing a comprehensive update on the county’s priorities, progress, and fiscal planning.

“I look forward to giving my annual update during this crucial time as we face a mix of opportunities and challenges to ensure Snohomish County continues to be the best place to live, work, and play,” says Executive Somers. “Residents, businesses, and other jurisdictions throughout the community have been crucial partners in all the county’s work, and they all rely on foundational county services in their day-to-day lives. I will be talking about how we preserve those foundational services to support a safe, welcoming, and thriving community.”

During the program, Executive Somers will highlight key developments shaping the region’s future, including fiscal trends, investments in infrastructure and services, sustainability goals, and workforce development efforts.

“Snohomish County continues to play a leading role in shaping Washington’s economic future,” says Ray Stephanson, President & CEO of EASC. “This event is an opportunity to hear directly how local leadership is aligning growth, infrastructure, and innovation to support businesses, workers, and communities across the region.”

Admission is $45 and includes lunch provided by Concept Catering by Lombardi’s. Tickets can be purchased here: https://bit.ly/SnoCoUpdate26
