City of Lynnwood will host its first ever Pride event Saturday, June 6

LYNNWOOD—For the first time ever, the City of Lynnwood will be hosting its own City Pride event on Saturday, June 6,to honor the city’s LGBTQ+ community with live performances, food trucks, local small businesses, and a diverse range of vendors.

Visitors can expect an exciting and vibrant lineup of performances including Ballet Folklorico Xochiquetzal, Kitzenjammer, Gaisma Theatre Group, and Auntmama with energetic day-long music from DJ Zeta.

A vibrant mix of local businesses, artisans, community nonprofits, and food trucks will also present with food options by Goodbelly, Kathmandu MomoCha, Turmeric n More, Golden Delicious, and Kool Kidz icecream.

Community nonprofits include, but are not limited to, Sno-Isle Libraries, Cocoon House, Blood Work, Lynnwood 4H, Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, and local businesses include Lush Cosmetics and Around the Table Games. All in all, there should be about a dozen vendors and a dozen nonprofits.

The event will take place on the Lynnwood Civic Campus (located at 19000 44th Avenue West) from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the Senior Center parking lot.

The event is in partnership with the Lynnwood Chamber of Commerce, Edmonds College, Edmonds School District, and the Lynnwood Library. Sponsors include Molina Healthcare, Dave and Buster’s, Kirkland EMDR Counseling, and Edmonds College.

Parking will be available at the Civic Campus and nearby Lynnwood Library. Though there have been several Pride events held in Lynnwood
