LYNNWOOD — The City of Lynnwood Arts Commission is proud to present Soccer Balls Art: Welcome FIFA World Cup, a community art exhibition featuring 17 unique, artist-decorated soccer balls on display at the Lynnwood Rec Center (18900 44th Ave W) now through Sunday, July 19, 2026. The project is funded in part by a grant from the Economic Alliance Snohomish County.
The exhibition coincides with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is bringing international soccer excitement to the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Each of the 17 balls has been transformed by a local artist into a one-of-a-kind piece reflecting the creativity and diversity of Lynnwood’s community. The display is free and open to all.
The soccer balls will also be offered in an online auction at www.32auctions.com/SoccerBalls. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Lynnwood Food Bank, supporting neighbors in need right here in our community. Bidding is open now and runs through July 28, 2026.
Artist Reception — July 28, 2026
The community is invited to celebrate the artists at a reception on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lynnwood City Hall (19100 44th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036). Meet the artists, view the soccer balls, and place your final bid. The auction closes at the end of the reception. The event is free and open to the public.
