SNOHOMISH COUNTY—Take Community Transit to Independence Day celebrations, just be sure to check schedules in advance for changes due to the holiday.
All Community Transit service and Sound Transit buses will operate on a Sunday schedule on Friday, July 3, Independence Day (observed):
- All Community Transit bus and DART paratransit service: Sunday schedule
- Sound Transit buses: Sunday schedule
- Zip Shuttle:
- Alderwood: 5 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Arlington and Lake Stevens: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Darrington: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Customer Care phone lines and Ride Store: Open regular hours

Fireworks prohibited on Community Transit properties and buses
As Independence Day approaches, Community Transit reminds passengers that fireworks are not allowed on buses or any transit property, including transit centers and park & ride lots.
Community Transit provides bus and paratransit service, vanpool, and innovative transit options in Snohomish County. The agency is expanding the Swift bus rapid transit network to connect people to light rail and provide fast, frequent service throughout the county.
