The 32nd Legislative District is fortunate to have a strong field of candidates seeking the State Representative seat this year. After carefully considering who is best prepared to represent the communities of South Snohomish and North King counties, I am proud to endorse Edmonds City Councilmember Jenna Nand.
What stands out to me about Jenna is her thoughtful, pragmatic approach to public service. As a small-business attorney and city councilmember, she understands the challenges facing working families, small businesses, and local governments. She takes the time to listen, does her homework, and bases her decisions on facts, collaboration, and practical solutions.
Jenna’s experience gives her a balanced perspective on many of the issues our region faces. Whether it’s expanding access to healthcare, strengthening addiction recovery and behavioral health services, investing in infrastructure, or supporting working-class families, she approaches every issue with empathy and a focus on results. She recognizes that effective state leadership means working alongside local cities like Lynnwood and Edmonds to solve problems together.
We have several qualified candidates in this race, but I believe Jenna Nand offers the experience, independence, and work ethic needed to serve our district effectively in Olympia.
