BOTHELL – At 7:14 pm on Thursday, July 23, Bothell Police responded to reports of a shooting in the Canyon Park McDonald’s parking lot.
Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and interviewed witnesses who indicated that several teens met up in the parking lot where a fight broke out. One teen appeared to have pulled a gun out, firing several rounds during the ongoing struggle. No injuries have been reported at this time. Several of the teens were located after fleeing the scene. Two of the teens involved have been detained. Officers also recovered one firearm from the scene.
Based on available information, investigators do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
