EDMONDS—August Story Time at Edmonds Bookshop will be led by children’s author/illustrator Corinna Luyken who will be reading her latest picture book Hello, Ocean on Friday, August 28th at 9:30 am.
Luyken is the author/illustrator of numerous picture books that have been translated into thirteen languages. These include The New York Times Best Seller, MY HEART; THE BOOK OF MISTAKES (which The Wall Street Journal called “sublime”); ABC AND YOU AND ME (a Dolly Parton Imagination Library selection); THE TREE IN ME (an NCTE Notable Poetry Book and Indie Bestseller) and THE ARGUERS (a School Library Best Picture Book of 2025.)
Story Time begins at 9:30 am before the store opens and there will be a simple craft or activity for the kids afterwards. All are welcome to join in!
