Edmonds Block Party returns this weekend with nostalgia-fueled lineup and vinyl DJ sets

EDMONDS This weekend, the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to host the second annual edition of Edmonds Block Party August 7–8 at Civic Center Playfield, transforming downtown Edmonds into a two-day, multi-generational celebration of live music, vinyl culture, and community connection.

After a strong debut last year, earning coverage from KUOW, Seattle Refined and other regional outlets, this year’s headliners include Hell’s Belles, the internationally acclaimed all-female AC/DC tribute endorsed by Angus Young himself, and Nite Wave, bringing the dance party anthems of the 80’s new wave. Also on the main stage: Fleetwood Mac tribute The Little Lies, Queen-inspired Queen Mother, Seattle’s own Soundgarden homage Outshined, local favorite Nikki & The Fast Times, and soulful genre-blender Richard Taylor Jr.

Adding to that atmosphere are curated vinyl DJ sets from Musicology, Edmonds’ acclaimed independent record shop and music boutique known for championing Pacific Northwest artists. Between main stage performances, Musicology will spin vinyl selections that move beyond the tribute catalog – highlighting regional acts, deep cuts, and genres that reflect the broader sound of the PNW.

Beyond the stage, the Block Party offers a family zone (Saturday) with interactive activities. There will also be local food vendors, beer gardens, axe throwing, corn hole, mini golf, and open space designed for dancing, wandering, and running into people you haven’t seen in a year. The event serves as the Edmonds Chamber’s annual fundraiser, supporting free civic events throughout the year including the Fourth of July Parade, Classic Car Show, Halloween Trick-or-Treat, and Treelighting Ceremony.
