MARYSVILLE – A 43-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly killing her boyfriend by running him over with her car near Marysville Tuesday evening.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit (MCU) responded to a report of a person down at a residence in the 12800 block of 1st Avenue Northwest, near Marysville in unincorporated Snohomish County. When officers arrived, deputies found a 43-year-old man dead at the scene. Through its investigation, detectives determined that the victim had been struck be a vehicle. Court documents noted injuries including an apparent broken leg, a caved-in chest, a head wound and possibly other broken limbs, consistent with being struck by a vehicle
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, MCU detectives developed probable cause to arrest the deceased’s girlfriend, 43-year-old Golda Hall, as a suspect in the victim’s suspected homicide. Witnesses reported that she drove up to the house while yelling, screaming and using a bullhorn.
Snohomish County jail records indicate Hall was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on Wednesday, August 12, around 4:30 a.m. under a charge of Murder in the Second Degree – Domestic Violence (DV), which is a Felony A. There is currently no bail set.
The Sheriff’s Office’s MCU is continuing to investigate this incident.
Positive identification of the decedent, as well as the official cause and manner of death, will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
