SNOHOMISH COUNTYโAugust is National Immunization Awareness Month, and the school year is right around the corner. Your child deserves the best protection before the next school year starts.

Routine immunizations such as Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap), and others protect against a long list of diseases with an even longer list of potentially serious complications. This includes polio, chickenpox, hepatitis B, pneumococcal diseases, influenza and COVID-19.
Prepare for back to school by making sure your children are up to date on required immunizations. Snohomish County Health Department is hosting four vaccination clinics for the following school districts:
- Marysville (Tuesday, 08/18)
- Everett (Friday, 08/21)
- Mukilteo (Monday, 08/24)
- Monroe (Wednesday, 08/26) *For Monroe School District students only
These clinics are reserved for children 18 years and younger only. All school required vaccines will be provided at no cost. Walk-ins are limited, so please schedule an appointment for the applicable school district by clicking the relevant hyperlink above.

โWith recent federal communications around vaccine guidance, you may be feeling unsure about which immunizations to get,โ said Dr. James Lewis, health officer for the Snohomish County Health Department. โWe want to make it clear that there areย no changesย to current vaccine recommendations in Washington state and other members of the West Coast Health Alliance (Oregon, California and Hawaii).โ
You can find reliable resources below for clear guidance:
