EVERETT—The City of Everett and Community Transit are pursuing consolidation of their transit operations to form a unified and expanded countywide transit system. The public is invited to comment and ask questions about the proposed consolidation – including the draft consolidation approach – at an open house meeting on Tuesday, August 18.

The public can also submit comments online at everettwa.gov/transitconsolidation before the consolidation is presented to the Everett City Council and Community Transit Board of Directors.

Open house activities:
- Learn how a consolidated transit system could create more connected, frequent, and efficient transit service in Everett and throughout the region.
- Learn about the process for creating a consolidated transit system and the interlocal agreement that will outline how that system would operate.
- Talk with City of Everett and Community Transit staff who will be available to answer questions.
