Arlington – The Arlington Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on an access road near the 4700 block of 172nd Street Northeast at approximately 10:57 p.m. on September 4, 2026.
An adult male who was reportedly walking in the roadway was struck by a passing vehicle and sustained serious injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle promptly called 9-1-1, remained at the scene, and is cooperating with investigators. Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the collision.
The pedestrian received emergency medical treatment and was transported by North County Regional Fire Authority Emergency Medical Services to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Detectives from the Arlington Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division responded to process the scene and conduct the investigation.
