MUKILTEO — The City of Mukilteo is accepting applications for the 2027 Community Support Grants, with a total of $10,000 available to support projects and activities that benefit Mukilteo residents.
The grants are designed to support projects that enhance the quality of life and well-being of the community, including special events, educational opportunities, community activities and efforts that promote local economic development.
“We encourage organizations that help strengthen Mukilteo by supporting community well-being, education and economic development to apply,” said Mayor Joe Marine. “These grants provide an opportunity to bring forward ideas and programs that benefit our residents and contribute to a vibrant, connected community.”
Eligible projects are defined broadly to encourage wide participation and innovative proposals. Qualified public, private and nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply, including volunteer groups, neighborhood organizations, educational institutions, public agencies and the Chamber of Commerce.
Organizations generally must be based in Mukilteo. However, organizations outside the city may apply if they can demonstrate that their proposed services provide a clear benefit to the Mukilteo community. All funded projects must be completed by Dec. 31, 2027.
Grant funding is limited, and not all submitted projects will receive funding. Awards may be granted in full or in part, depending on available funding and the merits of each proposal.
“We know community organizations bring valuable ideas, programs and services to Mukilteo,” said Mayor Marine. “We encourage eligible organizations to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to expand their work and make a positive impact in our community.”
