EVERETT — A 27-year-old man was shot in the head Friday night during a domestic violence assault in the 13000 block of Eighth Avenue West, and deputies later arrested a 46-year-old man who knew the victim, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said.
South County deputies responded about 10:25 p.m. Friday. They found the wounded man and had him taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
Authorities said the suspect fled on foot. Deputies set up a perimeter and conducted a K-9 search with help from other agencies but did not find him during the initial search.
Deputies later located the suspect Errol Naranjo Nalugon in Everett, arrested him and booked him into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault — domestic violence. His bond is sat at $500,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
