Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus both announce new 2026-27 Season

SEATTLE – Seattle Men’s Chorus (SMC) and Seattle Women’s Chorus (SWC) return to the stage for the 2026-27 season with three brand-new concerts, treating audiences to holiday magic, an intimate look at life’s journeys, and a full-on return to the dance floor.

The new season will feature performances across Seattle, along with select shows in Tacoma, Everett, Olympia, Bothell, and Bellingham to reach audiences throughout the Pacific Northwest. Also back by popular demand is a special holiday kids’ show perfect for short attention spans, with children 12 and under admitted free.

“We open the season the way our audiences love best, with all the joy and spectacle of Prance & Be Merry,” said Paul Caldwell, artistic director for Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus. “From there, the Seattle Women’s Chorus turns inward with Journeys, an intimate concert built around the music that connects us. We close out the year by bringing the dance floor back to life with Disco Inferno.”

Prance & Be Merry: Seattle Men’s Chorus Holiday Show

SMC rings in the holidays with its signature seasonal performance, featuring a full herd of reindeer numbers and festive favorites, Christmas comedy, dancing, prancing and the gayest sing-along in town! Audiences can expect fun surprises and plenty of holiday cheer, as this year’s run adds a new stop in Olympia at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts, alongside returning performances in Seattle, Tacoma, and Everett.

Journeys: Seattle Women’s Chorus Concert

Conducted by resident conductor Beth Ann Bonnecroy, Seattle Women’s Chorus celebrates life’s journeys with a program of traditional choral music spanning joy, reflection, and resilience. This intimate, community-rooted concert brings SWC’s members together with the friends and family who’ve followed their journey, for an afternoon of shared connection and song.

Disco Inferno: Seattle Men’s Chorus Concert

It’s raining men! Seattle Men’s Chorus throws it back to the dance floor with a full set of disco-era anthems and iconic hits, dazzling choreography, and glittering costumes. Expect a costume contest and plenty of chances to get up and dance along, because this is pride and joy: it’s the music that set us free.

“This season has something for everyone, from full-scale holiday spectacle to an intimate winter concert to a full-on disco celebration,” said Craig Coogan, executive director of the Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus. “Wherever you find us this year, you’ll leave with a little more joy than when you arrived.”

Save the date: SMC and SWC’s 2027 Auction & Gala returns April 24, 2027 at The Edgewater Hotel, with a special performance by Broadway’s Nick Adams (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Drag: The Musical). More details to come.
