TULALIP — Tulalip Resort Casino has completed its three-year expansion and renovation project that adds 70,250 square feet to the property and brings new gaming, dining and hospitality amenities to the 23-year-old resort.

The project, announced in November 2023, included construction of a new north addition, an expanded gaming floor, new and renovated bars, upgrades to dining venues and a top-to-bottom renovation of the existing casino. The renovation was completed in September.
“This is a transformative new chapter for Tulalip Resort Casino,” said Marci Fryberg, president and chief operating officer of the Tulalip Gaming Organization. “We have been deeply gratified by our guests’ positive response throughout the three-year journey.”
Construction on the north addition began in January 2024. The expanded area opened in July 2025, after which renovation work began throughout the remainder of the property.
The expansion brings the casino’s total gaming area to 270,250 square feet and adds more than 400 slot machines, bringing the property wide total to more than 2,600.
One of the most prominent additions is the new Center Bar, a 38-foot-tall, seven-ton structure located in the center of the gaming floor. The 3,366-square-foot bar and lounge features bar-top gaming and seating for up to 60 guests.

The bar’s domed design incorporates sea-life imagery intended to evoke the Salish Sea and serves as the centerpiece of a broader design overhaul throughout the casino.
The renovation incorporates colors and materials inspired by the Pacific Northwest, including blue and gray tones representing nearby waters and beaches, as well as cream, copper and gold accents intended to evoke sunsets.
Architectural elements throughout the gaming floor depict water currents, ripples, piers, fishing nets, forage fish and jellyfish. A prominent ceiling feature incorporates symbols representing schools of fish traveling parallel to fishing nets.

The design also draws on the culture and traditions of the Tulalip Tribes.
The north addition includes the new North Bar, which offers cocktails, wine and craft beer and opens onto a covered outdoor patio with heated seating and a smoking area. The north and east entrances feature large timber arches and metallic tribal storytelling spindle whorls.

The north entrance faces the Tulalip Amphitheatre and Seattle Premium Outlets and is fronted by a landscaped courtyard.
Other renovations include a 4,000-square-foot High-Limit Slots Room, improvements to several casino restaurants and the addition of Salish Sweets, a gourmet local ice cream shop.

Swinerton Construction served as the building contractor, while Bremerton-based Rice Fergus Miller was the project’s architectural firm. The companies worked alongside Tulalip Resort Casino’s internal project team and division leaders.
The resort’s hotel and other amenities remained part of the broader renovation effort. The property includes a 12-story, 370-room hotel, 30,000 square feet of meeting, convention and wedding space and the 14,000-square-foot T-Spa.
Tulalip Resort Casino also operates several dining and entertainment venues, including Blackfish Wild Salmon Grill & Bar (which just recently won the Seattle Times Best in the PNW People’s Choice Polls), and Tula Bene Pastaria + Chophouse. Nine dining and beverage destinations are available throughout the casino.
Entertainment offerings include Canoes Cabaret, the Orca Ballroom and the 3,000-seat Tulalip Amphitheatre. The casino also operates a DraftKings sportsbook.
The resort is located adjacent to Seattle Premium Outlets, which has more than 130 designer stores.

The property has received AAA Four-Diamond status every year since 2009, making it the only resort casino in Washington to hold the designation for 18 consecutive years, according to the resort. It has also appeared on Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold and Top 100 Resorts lists and was named among Tripadvisor’s top 10% of global accommodations in its 2026 Travelers’ Choice awards.
The Las Vegas-style Tulalip Resort Casino opened in June 2003. It is an enterprise of the Tulalip Tribes and is located at 10200 Quil Ceda Blvd., just off Interstate 5 at Exit 200.
