Potential applicants for deputy positions must first apply through Snohomish County Human Resources and Employment, then schedule a test with Public Safety Testing or the National Testing Network.
- Higher base salary
- Between 1 and 5 years of experience: $6,760 per month OR over 5+ years of experience: $7,275 per month.
- Laterals with 1-5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree will earn $86,802 annually and laterals with over 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree will earn $93,411 annually.
- 40 hours of vacation awarded after successful completion of FTO program AND higher vacation accrual rates:
- Between 1 and 5 years of experience: 10.04 hrs/month OR 5+ years of experience: 12.05 hrs/month
- Moving expense reimbursement of up to $2,000 in-state or up to $5,000 out-of-state, after successful completion of probationary period
