• UPDATE 1/14/2021 6:47 PM – Power restored to 80,000 customers, 15,000 still without power. Snohomish County PUD worked throughout the night and their crews are working as quickly as possible.
• UPDATE 1/13/2021 7:20 PM – Power restored to 53,000 customers, 42,000 still without power. Snohomish County PUD has informed that their crews are working as quickly as possible.
• UPDATE 1/13/2021 4:15 PM – Power restored to 46,000 customers, 49,000 still without power. Snohomish County PUD has informed that their crews are working as quickly as possible.
• UPDATE 1/13/2021 1:18 PM – Power restored to 20,000 customers, 75,000 still without power. Snohomish County PUD has informed that their crews are working as quickly as possible.

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash., January 13, 2021 – Over ninety-five thousand residences are without power throughout Snohomish County. Because of the extent of the outage, Snohomish County Public Utility District is not providing an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) but did state that service restoration times will vary by location and condition.

According to a post on its Twitter account, below is the priority to restore service:

1. High-voltage transmission levels which affect substations that serve large numbers of customers, hospitals, schools and businesses.
2. Oil spills from transformers, wires blocking main highways and other down wires.
3. Substation main line circuits that serve neighborhoods and/or businesses.
4. Smaller outages such as transformer malfunctions or fallen service lines that serve a few homes.
5. Outages impacting non-essential streetlights.

Snohomish County PUD attributes the power outage to last night’s stormy weather. Crews began restoration efforts last night  If your power is out, report it to 425-783-1001 or on PUD’s outage map at http://outagemap.snopud.com.

To report fallen power lines call 425-783-1001. Stay AT LEAST 30 feet away from any lines on the ground. Do not drive or walk over these to prevent possible injury. For a life-threatening injury, call 911.
