By Mario Lotmore | Lynnwood Times Staff

WASHINGTON D.C., January 18, 2021 – This afternoon First Lady Melania Trump delivered her farewell speech to the nation.

In her message, FLOTUS recognized the sacrifices of service members, law enforcement, and the heroes combating the pandemic. She shared that her passion for helping children succeed were paramount to the policy initiatives – wellbeing, online safety, and opioid abuse – of her “Be Best” campaign.

First Lady Melania Trump concluded by calling on all Americans to “Be Best” Ambassadors by choosing others before self, focus on commonality than differences, love over hatred, and peace of violence. She challenged everyone to lead by example by caring for one another in our communities and not to lose sight of one’s integrity and values.
