LYNNWOOD, Wash., January 25, 2021 – A man in his early 60s who was stabbed outside of Fred Meyers yesterday, January 24, on 196th St. SW has died from his injuries.
Witnesses report the victim was in a verbal altercation with three to four individuals prior to one of them stabbing him. The suspect(s) fled the scene in a silver sedan. Several good Samaritans rendered aid.
Upon arrival officers found the victim with multiple stab wounds blooded on the ground. The victim was taken to Harbour View Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition but later died from his injuries.
Detectives now need the public’s help locating the suspect(s).
Witnesses say an African American woman in her late teens to early 20s, approximately 5’3″ to 5’4″, skinny and with short to mid-length curly black hair is responsible for the stabbing.
She and another woman and man got into a white or silver-colored four-door vehicle with black rims and body damage, possibly a late-model Nissan Sentra, and left the scene northbound on 48th Ave West on 196th St. The vehicle has a rear Arizona license plate and no front plate.
