Eggs-plore artist reception and egg auction is June 13

Overall, approximately 400 people participated in the 2019 eggs-plore egg hunt. The number of participants was about the same as last year, but more people this year found all the eggs.

Fred Wong, Community Programs Coordinator, said that while the plan is not finalized yet, he wants to host Eggs-plore every five years when the city celebrates its birthdays.

“I need to devote more time to some new projects in the coming year, such as telling more stories about our community, the I Love Lynnwood Sculpture and Love Lynnwood temporary art projects.”

On June 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., there will be an Artist Reception and Egg Auction at Lynnwood City Hall. Anyone can attend. Additionally, for those who participated in Eggs-plore, a few prizes are being awarded that evening. Everyone who found an egg during the event was entered in a drawing, which will take place at the reception.
