Mukilteo, WA  March 11, 2021 – Today, the Mukilteo Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at 40th and SR 526 just west of Boeing-Everett factory at 5:04 p.m. 

The initial call received at 5:03 p.m. indicated a two vehicle collision with possibly an unconscious person at the intersection.  Mukilteo Fire Engine 25 and Medic 24, along with Battalion 25 arrived to the scene at 5:09 p.m. to find two vehicles – one on the roadway and one a ditch.

The driver of the first vehicle was uninjured and refused care.  The driver of the vehicle in the ditch had to be extricated.  That driver was transported in serious condition by Mukilteo Medic 24 to the hospital.  All units cleared the scene at 5:50 p.m.

Other units responding to the incident were: Mukilteo Police, Everett Fire – Engine 6, Medic 6, and South County Fire – Engine 23, Medic 23A.
