ANCHORAGE, AK—Typhoon Halong’s remnants struck the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta around October 13–14, 2025, with hurricane-force winds and storm surges, disproportionately impacted Alaska Native villages, specifically the Yup’ik communities.
