Bellevue, Wash., August 7, 2020 – In an announcement, Republican challenger Tim Eyman “offers his enthusiastic support for Loren Culp.”
“I encourage everyone who supported me in my campaign to endorse, support, and vote for Loren Culp for Governor,” wrote Eyman.
Eyman’s endorsement comes one day after challenger Phil Fortunato threw his support behind Culp.
As of August 7, Eyman and Fortunato received 6.82% and 4.08% of the vote respectively. With 17.1% of the vote, Culp, will most likely be the Republican challenger against incumbent Jay Inslee (D) who is seeking a a third term as Washington state Governor. Inslee is leading the gubernatorial race with 50.82% of the vote.
