Ryan McGhie, a five-year resident from Lynnwood is putting on his third annual LED Christmas light show. A real estate agent for Keller Williams Bothell, McGhie lives with his wife Angela and one-year-old son. He is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and attended college in Hawaii where he met his wife.
McGhie shared with the Lynnwood Times that his goal is, “to create a bright moment in a really dark year.” He does most of the light set up himself but will sometimes require assistance from his little Christmas elves – his wife and dad.
For Christmas this year, McGhie handed out gifts with a QR code to the Lynnwood Lights website for his clients. However, all are welcome to come by and enjoy the free show. Attendees can tune in to FM 103.1 to listen to music along with the show.
The Lynnwood Lights show takes place every evening at 5 p.m. from now until January 1. Showtimes are every 30 minutes and lasts about 18 minutes. The light show ends at 9 p.m., Sun. – Thur., 9:30 p.m., Fri.-Sat.
The show takes place at 1409 172nd Pl SW, Lynnwood, just behind Alderwood Middle School. There is ample parking, but please be considerate of neighbors, do not block any driveways, and turn off headlights while viewing.
