EVERETT, WA – On Saturday, March 27, Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) will host two virtual town halls with local elected officials to discuss how the American Rescue Plan provides urgent pandemic relief to communities in Northwest Washington.
At 1:30 p.m. PDT, he will join Anacortes Mayor Laurie Gere to discuss the plan’s impact on the city and communities in Skagit County. At 2:45 p.m. PDT, he will join Island County Commissioner Janet St. Clair to hear how the plan will help the county.
Earlier this month, President Biden signed into law the American Rescue Plan, a nearly $1.9 trillion relief package Larsen supported to get more vaccines in arms, money in pockets, kids in schools and people back to work.
Larsen recently hosted a virtual town hall discussion with Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin to highlight the plan’s impact on Everett and surrounding communities.
These virtual events are open to the press. Please RSVP to Joe Tutino at Joseph.Tutino@mail.house.gov. Full recordings of both town halls will be available after events conclude.
