Lynnwood, Wash., Silver Creek Family Church will be hosting an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m. The location for the event is 5326 176th St SW, Lynnwood.

Special care and consideration have been taken to keep all attendees and volunteers safe and healthy. Large 30 x 30 areas of the field, will be designated for small groups (following the size recommendations of current state guidelines) to gather plastic pre-filled Easter Eggs.

Families will line up, following social distancing spacing requirements, and be assigned a hunt area when it is their turn. Our hosts and egg distributors will all be wearing masks and gloves.

A separate hunt area is available for families with special needs. Please inform one of the line hosts to assist.

Families that would prefer to have an egg hunt at home can also be included. Sunday morning, April 4th, from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM, families can drive by the front patio at Silver Creek and they will receive 10 pre-filled plastic eggs for each child in their family.

Easter Service

Join us at either our 9:30 AM or 11:00 AM service. Both services will be available in-person or online. Use the links below for the service time and option you prefer.

Extra celebrations to be included with each service. Easter basket drawings for those that attend in-person or online. Plus a special gift for every child. Those that attend in-person will be given their gift at the end of the service. Those that attend online can drive by Silver Creek’s front patio anytime from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, to pick up their gift.

In addition, all families that attend any service on March 28th will be given a high-quality children’s book, that helps tell the story of what Easter is all about. Mario Lotmore

Mario Lotmore is originally from The Bahamas and for the last seven years has called Mukilteo, WA his home. Having lived in every region of the United States has exposed him to various cultures, people, and approaches to life. Lotmore created the Lynnwood Times to represent the character of a diverse and growing Lynnwood. The launching of the city’s free community newspaper will only help bring neighborhoods together. Lotmore was an industrial engineer by trade and proven success implementing and managing lean accountable processes and policies within his eighteen years of operations excellence, strategic development, and project management in the aerospace, manufacturing, and banking industries. Over his career he has saved and created hundreds of union and non-union jobs. Lotmore is the President of a Homeowner Association, an active Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics volunteer in his community, and former Boeing 747 Diversity Council leader. Mario’s talent is finding “that recipe” of shared destiny to effectively improve the quality of life for others.
