Engineering Technician – Environmental and Surface Water

Regular Full-Time Benefitted    $30.17-$38.17 Hourly

Summary:  This position is for an Engineering Technician – Environmental and Surface Water for the City’s Surface Water Management Division, which is in the Operations and Maintenance Department of Public Works. Individuals in this position provide support to higher staff but also perform limited independent duties as assigned. The duties include a variety of technical support functions related to surface water and environmental management, NPDES / Clean Water ACT compliance, GIS and mapping, public and private development, and site inspection under close supervision.

Seasonal General Laborer – Public Works

Seasonal/Temporary Non-Benefitted    $14.17-$16.83 Hourly

Summary:  The City of Lynnwood Public Works’ departments are hiring up to six (6) temporary, non-benefitted General Laborers! These are entry level positions, perfect for someone who wants to learn a new skill or trade!

Summer Camp Counselor

Seasonal/Temporary Non-Benefitted    $15.18-$16.83 Hourly

Summary:  Calling all graduating seniors and college students.  We need you!  Come work in our summer camp programs where you will learn valuable job skills such as leadership, problem solving, being organized, planning, and teamwork, all while leading games, songs, field trips, being outside and having fun!    These skills can be applied to every job you have in the future.  Start building for your future now!  The incumbent in this position is responsible for planning and implementing the year-round and seasonal programs for pre-school and school age children. The position is within the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department, and works under the supervisory direction of the Recreation Supervisor.

Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

Seasonal/Temporary Non-Benefitted    $14.73-$17.50 Hourly

Summary:  Individuals assigned to this position are responsible for supervising the patrons in the natatorium. The position is within the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department and works under the supervisory direction of the Aquatics Supervisor and Assistant Aquatics Supervisors.
