OLYMPIA, Wash., January 5, 2022 – This Friday, Washington state Superintendent Chris Reykdal will provide the first annual update on the state of Washington’s K–12 students, educators, and schools.

Topics will include updates on student mental health and learning, health and safety, Class of 2021 graduation rates, fall 2021 assessment scores, education funding, and more. No announcements related to school building closures will be made.

The K-12 Education in Washington: An Annual Update from Superintendent Chris Reykdal event will take place 10 a.m. Friday, January 7 and will broadcast on TVW.
