Public invited to Cops for Kids of Diverse Abilities event April 23

LYNNWOOD, Wash., March 23, 2022 – April is Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month, and the Lynnwood Police Department is excited to be hosting its first ever event designed especially for kids and families with kids on the Autism Spectrum. Think of it like a Cops and Kids which is on June 4th by the way, only it is a Cops and Extraordinary Kids event!

Blocks of time will close once a certain number of registrants is attained to ensure the event stays small enough to be comfortable for sensory-sensitive kiddos. Lynnwood PD is working with licensed behavior professionals to make its first (and hopefully annual) Cops for Inclusion is a sensory-inclusive, positive experience for our community.

An event page has all of the pertinent details. Please use the QR code below to learn more and register for free or click here.
