Amazon Go is a line of Amazon grocery stores that utilizes “Just Walk Out Technology”, a checkout-free shopping experience that detects when products are taken from, or returned to, a shelf and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. When customers are done shopping, they simply leave the store with their items which are charged to their Amazon account.

“This new format features the same Just Walk Out Shopping experience customers have come to appreciate from our traditional Amazon Go stores,” Alicia Clark, PR Manager for Amazon said. “When shoppers are done shopping, they’re good to go. No lines, no checkout.”
