Everett shooting leaves two dead

EVERETT, Wash., May 25, 2022 – Everett Police are seeking the public’s help in a shooting that occurred this morning. Major Crimes detectives are investigating an apparent domestic incident that resulted in a shooting, leaving the believed suspect and one other deceased.

Just before 7:00 a.m. this morning, Officers received a 911 call with an apparent domestic situation inside an apartment in the 9900 Block of Holly Dr.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a witness outside who stated they had a gun pointed at them in the apartment and two people were still inside the apartment. Officers attempted contact with the apartment but received no response.

Officers entered the apartment to conduct a check on the welfare of those inside and found an adult male and an adult female deceased inside with apparent gunshot wounds. Both the male and female were in their 40s. 

 Major Crimes detectives are still investigating the incident, but the suspect is believed to be one of the deceased.
