Fugitive on the run after gunfire exchange with Lynnwood Police

LYNNWOOD, Wash., July 6, 2022 — Authorities are searching for a white man, around 5’11” with a medium build wanted for attempted murder and escaping a Department of Corrections facility. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Yesterday in front of Pick n Pull on Highway 99, at approximately 12 p.m., the suspect allegedly opened fire at a Lynnwood officer who was attempting to arrest him. During the arrest of the fugitive, he pulled out a gun and held it to the head of a woman he was with, according to PD. After the suspect fired at least one round, the Lynnwood police officer returned fire.

The suspect managed to speed off and Lynnwood Police were unable to follow him. Neither the suspect, the woman, nor officers were hurt during the incident, according to police.

The suspect was last seen driving a black Jaguar with dealer’s temporary license plates. He is wanted on active felony warrants for attempted murder.

If you see the suspect or the vehicle, call 911. Do not approach him– he is considered armed and dangerous.
